What helps the real estate value in this neighbourhood are the three main highways that go through this region. Earl’s Court is serviced by the A320, the A308, and the A316.
That easy access to major homes makes Earl’s Court an ideal place to live. The fact that it is considered a part of Kensington makes sure its real estate values do not drop.
This area was named Earl’s Court because it was once owned by the Rich family who was the Earls of Warwick. Over the centuries, this area turned from a land of orchards, fields, and markets to a very high-priced real estate market.
Divided It Will Not Succeed
It is said that there is a great difference between the west and east sections of Earl’s Court. This division has not helped the economy nor the less than 10,000 people living in this small region of London.
This division is probably why the real estate values have not reached the same levels as it has in other parts of Kensington and Chelsea. The west side does not reach the heights of the east either in real estate pricing or the grand looks of its buildings.
There is a lot of disparity between the two sections of Earl’s Court and the crossing of one street may have you thinking you moved to a different country. There are other complications to this area that may suppress the real estate values of the homes and flats.
Earl’s Court Real Estate Value
The most expensive home we found in or near this area was £10,000,000. However, that is an exception and not the rule for this neighbourhood. Expect to find homes in the low 7 figures for the most part.
The homes in east Earl’s Court could and do rival many elegant homes found in Kensington and Chelsea and are well worth their asking prices. There are some nice apartment buildings for sale as well and the price for a single flat is around £600,000.
The good news is that houses sold the last time, around 2015 approx. Having doubled and sometimes tripled in value, Their current market value makes those early purchases a wise investment.
However, there is no guarantee that this trend will continue into the near future. But those great increases are not universal to Earl’s Court and some of this neighbourhood’s homes only raised up by 10 to 25%.
Assets to living in Earl’s Court
The healthy rise in real estate value is not the only aspect of living in Earl’s Court worth the cost of houses or flats. Three tube stations, Earl's Court tube station, West Brompton station, &Gloucester Road tube station, along with 5 bus lines, 328, 430, 74, C1, and C3, makes travel to other sections of the city smooth and easy.
These public transit routes help hold the value of the homes in the area as this neighbourhood remains a desired location.
