Notting Hill
Portobello Road, garden squares and London's most colourful houses.
Notting Hill is one of west London's best-known neighbourhoods, in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, between Holland Park, Bayswater and Kensington Gardens. It is famous for Portobello Road Market, its pastel-coloured terraced houses and the Notting Hill Carnival every August bank holiday weekend.

Portobello Road has antiques on Saturdays and food and fashion stalls through the week, and Westbourne Grove and Ledbury Road are lined with independent shops, cafés and restaurants. The Electric Cinema and the Coronet are local landmarks, and Kensington Gardens and Holland Park are a short walk away.
